One family across an entire story
Keep Arti and her parents recognisable through changing poses, locations, lighting and emotion—without flattening every scene into the same image.
CHARACTER → STORY → PRINT
A paid children’s book commission developed as one consistent visual world across characters, emotional scenes and a complete editorial sequence.

Keep Arti and her parents recognisable through changing poses, locations, lighting and emotion—without flattening every scene into the same image.
Character sheets established face, proportions, hair, clothing and palette. Client feedback then guided targeted corrections rather than full restarts.
Twelve narrative scenes plus front and back covers were organised into a 28-page plan and delivered in formats prepared for editorial production.
CHARACTER SYSTEM
Reference-image conditioning anchored the family before scene production. The approved sheets became visual constraints for age, facial structure, proportions, costume and colour—not just loose inspiration.

SCENE CONTINUITY
The character moves from daylight action to intimate low-light scenes and emotionally sensitive moments. Each image was reviewed for identity, anatomy, object logic, lighting and narrative intent.

EDITORIAL SEQUENCE
The final work was planned as a reading experience: page pairings, double-page spreads and pacing carry the story from quieter, muted moments into warmer and more magical scenes.
